My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very clean but had a strange smell, indicating that animals might have been there before. Unfortunately, the room wasn't ready on time. On the bright side, the service was delightful, with efficient and accommodating staff. However, there were some negative encounters including unfriendly and rude behavior. The location was beautiful with easy access to the Crater swimming hole for a romantic getaway, although some upgrades are needed. The dining experience was pleasant at Fanny's Grill, but the activity center staff were unhelpful and acted as if answering questions was a burden. Overall, a somewhat enjoyable stay with its ups and downs.
